I am currently in the market to replace a 40 year old R22 system. I will be so glad to help save the planet with this new system, but I am concerned over the damage to humanity and wildlife from PFAS “forever chemicals” that are found in MOST current refrigerants. What is the plan forward for homeowners when R454b gets banned for the PFAS content? And, don’t you feel some sort of responsibility to notify the EPA of the error in their directive for you to actually make and promote these product that you know to be enduring and toxic? Should consumers invest in new system designed to use a gas already on the scope for a ban in Europe? With your well documented history of placing the interests end consumers first, why couldn’t Chemours just be competitive in the manufacture of “Good Old R32” which is not on the PFAS hit list in Europe, or introduce their secret “forever chemicals safe” R454b replacement right now? I think it would be a shame to make sure we have a Non-GWP world where everyone is poisoned by your “Forever Chemicals”. BTW, I do admire the skillful way you use to blame the equipment manufacturers and technicians for failure to contain refrigerant gas, you should have done that in the R-12, R-22 days (unfortunately for your $$$$ that your patents ran out on that stuff before you could get the warning out).

How can i find the chart?

Hello there, we have problems with Voltage fluctuations here in South Florida , where the voltage dips / cuts out briefly and then comes back on right away. This causes my AC compressor many problems, so I installed a ICM Delay on Make Timer. The strange thing is that the timer does not cut out at those dips but only delays once the electricity goes off completely ( same counts for the built in delay in my Air handler thermostat). What do you recommend ?

This thermostat is absolute garbage

I just signed a one year lease on a house that has one of these. It seems permanently set at 78 F. We are in the middle of a heat wave, and I would like it to be cooler for sleeping. I found the operating instructions on line, but they don't work. I pay the electric bill, so I don't see why the manager would lock me out of the ability to change the temperature. Something is not right, but what? Help!

I've been complaining about my AC not working right for months. The AC guy came today, he turned it on and said just leave it on 👀 It showed 88 room temp and it was set on 83 so umm i said its not going to shut off so i should just let it run till it gets to 83 and he said yes 🙄 I said look im not trying to get a big light bill i just want this to work right. Could it be the thermostat i asked and he said he doesn't know, i said aren't you the AC man he said yes but the office won't let me touch the thermostat 😳 I said then why are you here!?! All he said was he came to check the AC and it seems to be okay. I'm so lost and confused not to mention mad! My AC ran for 3 hours after he left and still stayed at 88 so i turned it off because it aint working right at least not to me. I went on amazon and bought another thermostat exactly the same. Now im wondering how to install it 😔 Please help 🙏🏽 Maybe i should explain...the AC doesn't work right cause it raises the temp of room higher instead of lower, plus sometimes it smells like bleach, sometimes i have it on and it runs then go off and never come back on again 🙄 The AC guy didnt do jack 💩 at my place yesterday, he was more interested in my plants and my place 👀 Is there a video on how to install the new thermostat i bought? Please reply 🙏🏽

Thank you guys. After 3 days of searching on the internet and checking everything in the system,.... to resolve the message I kept getting (Redlink needs 24 vac) when I tried to get my wireless Honeywell T stat to communicate with the EIM after the initial error message,.. "memory error" when power went out... your comment,... "oh and if you get it wrong,.. or need to change something,.. you have to reset everything back to factory defaults and then reprogram from the very start again,.. otherwise it won't work" was the answer. Within 5 minutes after watching your video,.. it was up and running. 3 days of trying to figure this out. Looks like your video has helped many even 4 years later. Can't thank you enough.

This unit starts pumping water at about mid height of the tank, all the way sucking water out until reaching the bottom level without any water returned back even with 12 ft of remaining water in the hose. The competition appears as an old obsolete design which caused spills from frequently due to the old designs.

I have struggled against several sump pumps for basements. This is probably with the most promising features in my 40 years sump pump experience. Serving for both AC condensation and dehumidifier, it really pumps the water out without flow back nor intermittently or overflow. Bravo, the winner of sump pump Olympics!

Great video! I have a two story house, originally two units, one of upstairs, one for down, installed power monitoring on both, could easily see how the upstairs unit carried 80 percent of the heat load in the summer, and how the downstairs did essentially the same for the winter. Got rid of the two units, installed a variable speed 4 ton Trane XV18, removed all the flex hose and installed proper insulated metal ductwork, with Tranes zoning system, and modulating dampers. I'm a DIY'er, but I'm an engineer who loves to learn by doing new things outside my comfort zone, pun intended. Whole house now stays within a degree regardless of of season and we cut our energy consumption in half. A Gary was right, I would never have another home without zoning.

Solid advice. My Interface module stopped connecting with the remote thermostat. So no A\C in the summer. Following the directions here got it up and running again without having to make a service call as the thermostat panel message started. Thanks gentlemen for this upload! Well done!

I just had the T10 installed with my new HVAC system. I’m a bit confused about the sensor. I have a single zone. Main thermostat is on the first floor. If I put the sensor in the bedroom on 2nd floor and set it to 70 while the main one is set for 73, won’t the first floor become way too cold as it tries to cool the 2nd floor to a lower temperature?
